Yellow Mondays

We're back in THE city of street food and are loving it. Bangkok, our old friend, has done us in again. In the past 24 hours, we've burned our mouths raw (from spice), had fresh fruit drinks, sweated multiple pounds off and walked more stairs in 1 day than we do in a week. But we're loving it.
This time, we're staying in a different part of town called Silom at Lubd (A++, super modern-chic hostel with great communal spaces). A bit expensive for Bangkok, but very cool. It's near the skytrain, which is a big plus.
Today, we trained to the Vietnam embassy to apply for our visas. A surprisingly easy, but expensive (50+ USD) process. We're scheduled to pick them up this Friday. Fingers crossed that everything goes properly and we get the needed 3 month visa!
